Recently Garrett Lisi’s preprint in Arxiv.org broke the news as a promising new Theory of Everything. The paper, titled “An Exceptionally Simple Theory of Everything” is in my opinion anything but that due to some pretty hardcore mathematics and physics, but nevertheless it is very interesting.

On 8th of November 2007, 18-year old Pekka-Eric Auvinen killed 8 people and himself in the school of Jokela, in southern Finland. Out of curiosity, I made a timeline of the events at Jokela school.
